Save Money & Stay Cool with Oregon Department of Energy Incentives

How can this be done for Free?

Why Incentives Exist

Oregon is investing heavily in high-efficiency heat pump and mini-split systems because of one big reason: extreme heat is now a real health risk. After deadly heatwaves like the 2021 “heat dome,” the state responded with long-term solutions to keep Oregonians safe and comfortable.

Two Major Programs You Should Know

Energy Trust of Oregon Incentives

If you’re a customer of:

  • Pacific Power

  • PGE

  • NW Natural

  • Cascade Natural Gas

  • Avista

You could qualify for $200–$1,650 in Energy Trust incentives on a qualified heat pump installation. These rebates reward homeowners for installing high-efficiency systems like the ones we offer.

✔️ No waiting – incentives are often applied at the time of installation
✔️ Must use an Energy Trust-qualified installer – we are one
✔️ Systems must meet SEER2 and HSPF2 performance minimums

Oregon’s Community Heat Pump Deployment Program

This statewide program was created under Senate Bill 1536 to provide relief during extreme weather. It offers additional support for:

  • Low- to moderate-income households

  • Rental property owners

  • Communities vulnerable to heat-related health risks

This program works in tandem with the Energy Trust rebates and focuses on making homes safer and more energy-efficient, especially in underserved areas.
